(1925-1992)
I think: how beautiful is the EarthAnd man on it

"It is not nice to be famous" - this phrase became the foundation (basis) of the whole life of this amazingly bright person. Vladimir Fedorovich belonged to that type of people who are distinguished by a special quality called "conscientiousness". He was devoid of any self-conceit, did not bother about fame.
All this was the reason why Vladimir Fedorovich was known as a good, kind person, but as an artist he revealed himself after death. Death summed up his life, a simple, truthful and very difficult life.
He was 18 years old when he went to the front; until 1948 he served in Germany, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, and China.
In 1951, Vladimir Fedorovich entered the Sverdlovsk Art School (now Yekaterinburg), but three years later he was forced to leave his studies due to family circumstances. Since 1956, he has lived and worked in the Kurzhunkul state farm in the Fedorovsky district. It was there that he met the future member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gani Bayanov. Vladimir Fedorovich became his first teacher, sowing a seed in fertile soil, and this seed bore fruit.
Zaitsev V.F. came to our city in 1973, first worked in secondary school #3 (now the Abay comprehensive school) as a drawing and painting teacher, and then with the emergence of the Children's Art School, he moved to work as a painting and composition teacher. More than one generation of graduates of the Children's Art School remembers him with gratitude and respect.
He was by nature a deeply intelligent person, possessed of a sharp mind, refined taste, and enormous charm. He had the energy of active kindness directed towards people. Very lively, with clear eyes, sometimes mischievous, sometimes flashing lightning, he seemed to always exist above everyday life, was dissolved in art and infected everyone around him with his love. His students bear a special imprint, a reflection of Vladimir Fedorovich's personality. Many of them today conquer the heights of art.
As an artist, V. F. Zaitsev was shaped by time, and he, in turn, consciously or unconsciously reflected the character of time and its basic values in his works. His paintings, sketches are life itself, as it is, not embellished by any special effects.
He was true to realistic traditions. Just as his life was simple and straightforward, so the subject matter of his works is simple and clear, his heroes are people and nature.
